Manda Fang is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Xi'an International Studies University in China. Upon arrival to the U.S., she obtained a Master of Science in Rhetoric and Technical Communications from Michigan Technological University.
Since 2005, Ms. Fang has served as Senior Analyst with The Knowledge Company. With nearly 20 years of experience evaluating foreign education credentials, Ms. Fang has acquired a broad knowledge of the educational systems from many different countries around the world. She has evaluated educational credentials from countries including but not limited to the pacific-rim countries, Spanish speaking countries, European countries, as well as the Commonwealth countries.
In the early 1990s upon graduation, Ms. Fang was recruited as a faculty member at Xi'an International Studies University where she taught English as a Second Language to teachers and candidates who were preparing to pursue further studies in English-speaking countries, such as the United Kingdom and United States. While pursuing her master's degree at Michigan Tech., Ms. Fang worked as a teaching assistant and taught First-Year Writing course to freshmen students at Michigan Tech. After graduation, she worked for the Language Services (serving the U.S. Department of Defense) and taught Chinese language and culture courses in the Greater Washington area.
Besides the teaching experience for more than ten years, Ms. Fang had worked as the assistant editor for Computers and Composition (an international journal for teachers of writing). At the same time, Ms. Fang has been a freelance translator and interpreter for Chinese and English languages. Ms. Fang also joined SEF International as Senior Project Manager for the language teaching exchange programs with China.
